Writing

To write is a right
to a few, a sacred rite;
and they might be right

to direct their sights,
expressing all that they might,
exposing dark to light.

The ultimate fight
must be to declare the right,
bless the writing rite:

For to write—if right,
blessing one and all, no blight—
be the sight and might.
