Stargazy Pie

Stargazy pie. Only the English (Cornish, specifically) could come up with a dish so ridiculous. (It is sort of like the English version of Haggis (another unpalatable dish)). Why anyone would eat a dish that stares back at you is unfathomable. I cannot even look at it without gagging. I have tasted it (my first trip to England) and it is not as bad as it looks; but you know that you eat with your eyes first. That was unsettling.
