Try to love the questions themselves
The student had been searching for answers to his questions, in vain. After many years, he asked the master for guidance.
“Am I looking for answers in the wrong places? Am I asking the wrong questions?”
The master was silent at length. Then, finally, he spoke.
“It is not that you are looking for answers in the wrong places, nor that you are asking the wrong questions. It is that you are asking questions and looking for answers.”
In that moment, the student became enlightened.
